Recently celebrating its 25 years of pioneering outdoor activities, the company has gathered and consolidated valuable experience, successfully transforming it into the very best of what this amazingly beautiful country has to offer to its visitors.
Instead of operating a wide variety of rides all over the country, we have chosen, tested, and approved only a few regions that we consider the very best for excellent riding adventures. They unite perfect conditions regarding horse quality, service, reliability, and scenery—not to mention the genuine and extraordinary friendliness of the local people we work with. The great number of testimonials from satisfied clients confirms we made the right choice.
Please note that after having worked for quite some time through several agencies to sell our rides abroad, we have now chosen direct communication with our clients. This means we do not have to pay commissions and, accordingly, are able to offer high-quality rides at very reasonable prices. It also means that more money goes directly to the farmers, horsemen, and local communities we partner with. To ensure everything runs smoothly, every single request goes straight to Peter's desk, and he handles it personally from there. If the situation suggests, he will gladly call you by phone to discuss your wishes.
At Riding Brazil - Horseback Adventures, "less is more." Our maximum group size is 4 riders. Depending on local conditions, however, larger families or groups of friends may be accepted. We would also like to emphasize that, to even better serve our clients, we offer engaging extensions to our rides, thus adding extra value to your journey.
Our booking system is as simple as it gets. Just send an email to peter@ridingbrazil.com and you will receive a prompt and comprehensive response outlining the next steps. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit (usually 30% of the total amount, airfare excluded). The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the travel date. Invoices and confirmations for bookings and payments are issued and mailed directly to the customer.
Legal safety is another important priority in our operations. Issues involving complaints of non-performance or similar requests for compensation will be handled fairly by Riding Brazil - Horseback Adventures and, in the event of any doubt, always to the benefit of the client.
Compensation payments do not apply where the contract cannot be carried out due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Riding Brazil - Horseback Adventures or its suppliers, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with the exercise of all due care. Examples include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, labor disputes, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, alterations of aircraft type, or other similar events beyond the control of Riding Brazil - Horseback Adventures.
Trekking tours, expeditions, horseback riding, and other adventure trips like those offered by Riding Brazil - Horseback Adventures and its affiliates must be considered high-risk activities. Therefore, Riding Brazil - Horseback Adventures requires that you carry your own health, accident, and liability insurance, or agree in writing to assume responsibility for any injuries. Clients are responsible for ensuring that they hold travel insurance covering medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, as well as cancellation and curtailment for the full duration of their vacation. Clients making their own arrangements for flights, hotels, and other services must ensure that there are no exclusion clauses limiting protection for the type of activities included in their trip. Clients should confirm that any travel insurance arranged through an agency or individually meets their requirements and arrange supplementary insurance if necessary.
